The North Port Chorale is proud to have the Joyful Ringers affiliated with them.  Directed by Mary Thoroman, the four-octave handbell choir was added in the 2003-2004 season.  The 12 ringers are all members of the Chorale, Band, Symphony or community, and rehearse year round.

The bells ring a variety of music - classical, spirituals, Broadway and more - and are always looking for people who want to be a part of this unique group.  Reading music is a must, but the art of ringing can be learned very quickly.  Contact Director Mary Thoroman at (941) 423-0726 for more information.
